airport taxis can be the best mode of transport between yourself and the airport. You have to make sure that you have got yourself a registered airport taxi especially if you are in a foreign country as there could be large repercussions from this. it would also be a good idea to arrange for someone to pick you up. just make sure you arrange for a comfortable vehicle to travel in and not too many help. otherwise, your food fears may be more than justified.
