If you enjoy spending time by the sea, why not try one of the beaches along the coast of the Mar Menor (inner sea) at Los Alcazares, Los Narejos, Santiago de la Ribera or San Pedro del Pinatar. At Santiago you can take a ferry across the Mar Menor to the Thomas Maestre Harbour where many boats of all sizes from a small dingy to large yachts worth millions. There are many bars & restaurants, with views across the Mar Menor.

The Mar menor is well known for enjoying more than 3,000 hours of sun a year and mild temperatures - even in winter - with a yearly average of more than 18ºC. This is the Costa Calida, the ideal place to spend some days relaxing on your holiday in both winter and summer. As well as the beaches there are many other places to visit including the fishing town of Aguilas, the delightful picturesque fishing villages, like La Azohia or Cabo de Palos where you can lose yourself for a few days.
